Giant Pink Slugs

These Giant snails of Mount Kaputar, in northern New South Wales, Australia, are large enough to send shivers down the spine of everyone who meets them on his way. Located in the alpine forest of the isolated mountaintop, the slugs grow up to 20 centimeters long and crawl out of their hiding only during rainy nights to feed off the mould and moss on the trees. The thing is that the Triboniophorus aff. graeffei, as it is scientifically called, is a carnivorous, cannibal land snail that roam the mountaintop in search of other vegetarian snails.
